OMG, real life has taken over! My time on Second Life has been severely limited (I miss you Dark) and I just have not had anytime to post....anything!
Well, there is one thing I've been meaning to post for almost two weeks now.
I can now officially state that I have a real home in Second Life. Up until now I've been logging in and out in random locations, sitting idle in various places or hanging out with friends with no privacy.
When I started looking I was settled with something small, convenient...I didn't care about size, just a place to put my feet up.
Until I ran in to reBourne. I was introduced to their Manhattan landscape house that took my breath away.
But it was builder, Danny Bourne, who was near finished with his London house that sealed the deal of what I wanted in a home...and I couldn't have been happier.
This is a 360 degree view of London at night in a three story house. I don't have much else to say, and a picture is worth a thousand words, so...
The front.
The front, from another angle.
Second level. I draped vines along the outside windows.
Hot tub. Oops! Am I wearing high heels?
Living area...with a stripper pole for entertainment.
Living area. A picture frame on the far wall that cycles through various pictures.
Living area. Curtains in the back hide my modeling studio.
And here's where I do all my photo snapshot work.
Modeling Studio. The door in the back there leads...
...to this side front hall. I have my landmark set to teleport people here.
Upstairs, my bedroom, bath tub to the left. The cute panda was from Dark..the flower on the pillow from Sagara.
Outside view in to my bedroom. About the vines, they didn't come with the house. I had originally looked for curtains, something to drape the windows when I looked from the inside out. But the idea of vines was brought up by my friend, Dark. And so...I draped them about some of the windows and...what do you know! They provide a look and feel of curtains from the inside.
Bath tub with bubbles and champagne.
View from my bedroom.
Sitting on the balcony just outside my bedroom.
Best view in Second Life. When I need to idle for a while, I usually park it here.
Back down to the ground level, the backside of the house. To the left of where I'm standing is a hallway...
...that leads under the house. A view of Piccadilly Line Subway tunnel. It doesn't go anywhere, but it's a clever visual.
And further down the hallway, graffiti. The way to the right leads right back to the front.
Don't know what else to say but that I love my house.
